Community Powerdown Surgery tonight at the Rural Centre

Tonight, Jo and I will be attending the surgery on Renewable Energy at the Rural Centre. This looks like it could be a really interesting, informative and useful night.

As well as finding out about what grants are available for the micro-generation of renewable energy for homes and businesses we'll get to know and understand a little more about the subject in general.

Local Powerdown officer Frances Woodhead will be there as well as another Powerdown representative called Eamon King.

As Frances says, "the cheapest kilowatt is the one that you don't have to buy". In addition by doing what you can you'll be doing your bit for Mother Earth. I'll see you there.

Interesting to see that the smaller communities are doing their bit! Unlike the gluttonous wasteful society that I live in where waste is wanton!

There's a lot to be said for a smaller community
